Installers

Technology advances never cease the crime, which is why security professionals are always looking for better HD surveillance and smarter security systems. However, installation of digital surveillance systems, such as network cameras, is often very different from, and much more difficult, than analog cctv. DTV surveillance is the only digital surveillance system whose installation methodology is as simple as cctv.

Installation, set-up, expansion, and operation of DTV are very much like cable TV, because DTV surveillance has its roots in digital television. Take upgrades and expansion as an example. If an existing analog system is to be upgraded, DTV cameras can be installed on top of the analog system without changing the cable. On existing DTV systems that runs on coaxial cables, new DTV cameras can be easily added to the system simply using cable TV splitters. These features keep the labor cost for upgrade and expansion to a minimum.

DTV supports most cable types commonly used in surveillance systems, including coaxial cables, twisted pair, optical fiber, and many more. Different types of cables can also be mixed and matched. So installers can install DTV using cable types with which they are most familiar.

ccHDTV (DTV for short) digital HD surveillance systems provide the installers a complete new choice – a choice in which installers do not have to trade the benefits of digital technology for ease of installation.
