Q. Do DTV surveillance systems support return channel? What are the features supported?
Technically speaking, nothing in DTV system prevents the implementation of return channel. There are more than one way to implement it, and how to implement it is more a product planning issue than a technical issue.
The available DTV products (DTV HD DVRs) support features such as PTZ control, remote camera configuration, IO settings, return audio, remote firmware update, and so on.
